This is a time in which Jacob should have been at one of his greatest happiest moments while being exiled. Nevertheless, he wakes up from a celebration of completing seven years of servitude to his mother’s brother, he being a family member, so Jacob felt as he could have trusted him, that’s if he’s anything like my mother, Jacob must have thought within himself. He also wakes up from the most pleasurable night of consummating he ever could imagine. Understanding that this was the only recorded in the word, that he ever had in his whole entire life and he was now eighty-four years of age and Leah was now twenty-one or twenty-four years of age. At this age in which a person is tired of playing games, Jacob is faced literally with what seems as a greater disaster has struck him in Haran; though he escaped one in the Promised Land. Yes, a disaster in which he could never depart from, seeing he humbled that virgin woman, willingly and unwillingly. If we would read verses 28-29 of the 22nd chapter of the scroll of Deuteronomy, in which is penned in these words: If a man finds a girl who is a virgin ‘in which Leah was a virgin’, and she being not engaged ‘and Leah was not engaged’ if the man seizes her and is intimate with her and they are discovered ‘in which the guests at the celebration and Leah’s father Laban; they all knew Jacob will be intimate with Leah’, then the man ‘Jacob’ who was intimate with her ‘Leah’ shall give fifty shekels of silver to the girl’s father; even as Eliezer, Abraham’s eldest servant did in the 53rd verse of the 24th chapter of the scroll of Genesis; asking for Rebekah, Jacob’s mother heart for his master Isaac; in which Rebekah would marry Jacob’s father Isaac, In Jacob’s case, he gave Rachel’s father Laban seven years of servitude for her heart’. But she ‘Leah’ shall become Jacob’s wife because he has violated her; he ‘Jacob’ can never divorce her ‘Leah’ though he did not ever want her; but he needed her, and he just didn’t know it. The Complete Jewish study Bible has penned those same 28-29th verses of the 22nd chapter of the scroll of Deuteronomy with these words: If a man comes upon a girl who is a virgin but who is not engaged, and he grabs her and has sexual relations with her, and they are caught in the act, then the man ‘no matter what age he is’ who had intercourse with her must give to the girl’s father one-and-a-quarter pounds of silver shekels, and she will become his wife, because he humiliated her; he may not divorce her as long as he lives. That’s when we’re able to see, Jacob is now angrily calling out to Laban his uncle, and said unto him, what is this that thou didst unto me? In other words, Jacob was saying, you locked me into a lifetime contract I never agreed to; why??? Surely, I served thee for Rachel, and why didst thou deceive me and didst give me Leah? Now Jacob knows how it feels in Haran to be deceived by a father, with Leah’s body which feels like Rachel’s in the dim darkness of his imagination; with a different face which is actually Leah’s; even as he had done with his own dim eyed father in Canaan, which is penned in the 22nd verse of the 27th chapter of the scroll of Genesis in these words; his hand being like Esau his brother, but his voice sounding like Jacob. You guessed it, Jacob was having a fit about who he laid with that night, could you just imagine, Leah standing right there listening to all the complaints in which her new deceived husband was making, in whom she just was consummated with, now listening to what he was saying about her, with his face all distorted at her appearance. Most women would immediately go into defense mode; out of respect, she probably was saying in her mind; while you were going through the motions last night, whispering soft nothings in my ear, I did not hear any complaining at all; Selah!!! Yes, Jacob may have been saying sweet things in her ear, but he was thinking he was speaking them into Rachel’s; so, whatever crevice Laban had forced his daughter Rachel to crawl into that night, the seven years of sweet-sounding words from Jacob’s heart was searching desperately for her ears; but to a disappointing effect; Leah fooled herself into believing they were really for her. On Laban’s creeping arrival, he said to Jacob, I did not deceive you my kinfolk; what you asked for, it is not done in our place to give the younger before the elder now therefore if thou desire to take her younger sister likewise, take her unto thee for the service which thou wilt serve me for another seven years. Jacob did act in that manner; not thinking that these twin sisters would become rivals; even as he and his very own twin brother Esau was. So Jacob also took Rachel for a wife, and he served Laban seven years more ‘the exact same dowry in which he gave Laban for what he didn’t ever agree to in the first contract and that was for Leah to wear his nose ring, identifying that she’s married to Jacob’ Selah!!!! Isn’t it strange, when your hoodwinked in the dark and overcome with wine; you have to pay the same price the second time around when your sober, having all the lights in the tent on; finding out, that, turning out the lights in consummating, it’s not a custom at all in that land, as Laban said it was???? Allow us to make this known, our heavenly Father, He gets the hints and clues to us, if we’re not anxious for nothing, or if we are. Jacob, being more careful this second time around, yet excited, he came into Rachel, and he loved Rachel more than Leah. Could you imagine the conversation in Jacob and Rachel’s bedroom that first consummation night, when Jacob whispered sweet nothings in the ears of Rachel and the words did not have to search for her? Rachel could not help herself by asking; did you say these same words to my sister Leah, when she felt like me in your arms??? Here’s where most Christians and immature saints go flawless on a person; they pretend these conversations do not take place among Elohiym’s people; when in fact, the only thing different from someone who’s lost, and we who are delivered, having the blessing upon us; but we wrestle with or we of the Leadership Team of Grace Message Church Ministries, being under the chrîsma of the Ruach Hako’desh should have said; we struggle with the same emotions and arguments; as Paul warns us of in the 28th verse of the 7th chapter of the First scroll of Corinthians penned in these words: yet those [who marry] will have troubles (special challenges) in this life, and I Paul, an apostle of the Anointed One, am trying to spare you that. This is why saints must have self-control as one of the gifts of the Rational Soul. Laban gave Rachel something to help her marriage, but it was timid, which is a person wanting courage to meet danger; and that gift character was known as Bilhah, this was given to Rachel for her handmaid. Though things in the Promised Land were being shaken in Esau’s life; at the same time in Haran, things were being shaken in this other twin’s life, this blessed twin’s name being Jacob. Get this people, when Adonai saw that Leah was hated by Jacob and Rachel’, Adonai opened Leah’s womb, and she conceived and bare Jacob four sons in those days. Wow; in reading that, it may appear that Yehovah was working against Jacob; because Jacob wanted all the favor to be forced on whom he loved and that was Rachel. The Bible says; the good that I ‘Jacob’ would ‘with having seed with Rachel’ I ‘Jacob’ do not. But the evil which I ‘Jacob’ would not ‘as in having seed with Leah’, that I ‘Jacob’ do. Now if I ‘Jacob’ do that I would not, it is no more I ‘Jacob’ that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me ‘which was his hatred for Leah, though he humbled her’. For Jacob was content with just having the birthright ‘symbolically Rachel’; it was his mother ‘symbolically Laban’ who guided Jacob into the blessing ‘symbolically Leah’. For these are Leah’s seeds names, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, ‘the blessing’ and she afterward left bearing. At that time Rachel was barren, and she had no offspring, and Rachel envied her sister Leah. Here is where we will be pausing for the moment, for enough has been said to make you go hmm!!! This is real life issues in these food for thoughts; we will speak with you at a later date, that’s if it’s Adonai’s will, until then, sayonara!!!!
