In continuing with the lesson from where we left off at in our previous food for thought, we must remind everyone, we’re using the scroll or book of Jasher, which is a scroll and book in which every Bible itself speaks of in the 18th verse of the 1st chapter of the Second scroll of Samuel, when it makes this statement: it is written in the book of Jasher. Then the Bible ask the question, as is seen in the 13th verse of the 10th chapter of the scroll of Joshua; Is not this written in the book of Jasher? The reason why we of the Leadership Team of Grace Message Church Ministries keep writing this information concerning the scroll or book of Jasher, it’s this reason; if you have a issue in searching the scroll or book of Jasher; you should have a issue with searching the Bible; seeing you and everyone else confess that the Bible is the Word of Elohiym. So, receive the whole Word and not just what you desire; Selah!!! After Abram’s Father Terah introducing him to his inner court gods (which were idols of wood, stone, stumble and clay) Abram testing his father’s gods by offering them something to eat. Even as our ancestors or should we have said, forefathers offered meat offerings unto Elohiym, and Elohiym would consume the offerings, if they were prepared correctly, and the offeror were dressed the part in offering the sacrifice. The person who brings the sacrifice, he or her do not have to be dressed any certain way, just the offeror does; that’s a Selah moment!!!! Yehovah, our heavenly Father, He even said from the Old Testament in the 10th verse of the 3rd chapter of the scroll of Malachi: which is penned from the Amplified Bible in these words: Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the storehouse (which is a depository, a cellar, a garner and a treasure-house), so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says Yehovah of armies and companies, “if I will not open for you the (chimney with its apertures for smoke-and an opening for water called) windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a (prosperity) blessing until there is no more room to receive it. That same scroll of Malachi first asked, as can be read in the 8th verse of the same 10th chapter: Will a mere human being called man, will he defraud, which is to deprive Him of His rights, it’s called rob; now look what the scripture says mere human beings are trying to rob; Elohiym, the Bible calls God, He being the creator of the heaven and the earth and everything in them? The Creator says, yet, mere human beings are robbing Me! Mere human beings ask, ‘In what way have we mere human beings robbed You? Elohiym, the Creator answers mere human beings by saying; In tithes and offerings [you have withheld]; which sacrifices Hophni and Phinehas being priests of Yehovah and, sons of Eli the high priest, they covet and forced the people to do things their way and not Elohiym’s way. Even in the life of Yeshua our Savior, his parents offered up two turtle doves or two pigeons, as teaches the 8th verse of the 12th chapter of the scroll of Leviticus and is seen in verses 23-24 of the 2nd chapter of the scroll of Luke. If it’s a lamb she brings, it’s a burnt offering for the mother, and the two turtledoves or two pigeons are for a sin offering, in which the priest would offer up on her behalf. We are fully aware that these types of offerings are not offered up any more, this was used to allow you to see why Abram in the scroll of Jasher brought savory meat before his father Terah’s gods. This was an Abram testing on the people of the land gods. When their gods failed him, Abram chopped all of them up but one, the largest one; and here’s the results; Terah's anger was kindled against his son Abram, when he spoke this saying; your largest god chopped the others up; and Terah said to Abram his son in his anger, What is this tale that thou hast told? Thou speakest lies to me. Terah goes on to say: IS THERE IN THESE gods spirit, soul or power to do all thou hast told me? ARE THEY NOT JUST WOOD AND STONE, AND HAVE I NOT MYSELF MADE THEM, and canst thou speak such lies, saying that the large god that was with them smote them? It is thou that didst place the hatchet in his hands, and then sayest he smote them all. And Abram answered his father and said to him, And how canst thou then serve these idols in whom there is no power to do anything? Can those idols in which thou trust deliver thee, seeing you told me that these were the gods who created us? NO!!!! Can they hear thy prayers when thou call upon them? NO!!! Can they deliver thee from the hands of thy enemies, or will they fight thy battles for thee against thy enemies, that thou should serve wood and stone which can neither speak nor hear? NO!!!! Abram said to his father, now surely, it is not good for thee father, nor for the sons of men that are connected with thee, to do these things; are you so silly, so foolish or so short of understanding that you father will serve wood and stone, and do after this manner? Please keep in mind that Abram was speaking with his father Terah; in Abram speaking with his father in this manner of this subject, today’s society would say that Abram was disrespectful. We of the Leadership Team beg the differ, for Abram was fulfilling the 26th verse of the 14th chapter of the scroll of Luke which is penned in these words, coming out of the Amplified Bible: If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate (or detest the foreign ways of) his own father and mother and wife (as was the case with Job’s wife) and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life [in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God]—he cannot be My disciple. Keep in mind, it was Terah’s idea to allow Abram to spend thirty-nine years in the household of Noah and Shem. In those thirty-nine years, they taught Abram about El Shaddai, so Abram asked his father Terah, how has thou forgot Adonai our Elohiym who made heaven and earth, and who created you in the earth, and by you forgetting Him, it would thereby bring a great evil upon your souls in this matter, because you’re serving stone and wood? Did not our fathers in days of old sin in this matter, and Adonai our Elohiym, being Creator of the universe, He brought the waters of the flood upon them and destroyed the whole earth? Abram asked, so, father, how can you continue to do this and serve gods of wood and stone, who cannot hear, or speak, or deliver you from oppression, thereby bringing down the anger of the God of the universe upon you? People today are serving these same gods, because their jobs, in which they purchase things, they serve them more than they serve Elohiym. They will killing you for things and make ways to get them by any means necessary, but when it comes down to serving Elohiym, our maker, they say, it does not take all of that. Abram gives his father instructions by saying, therefore my father refrain from this idol worshiping, and bring not evil upon thy soul and the souls of thy household. That’s when Abram hastened and sprang from before his father, and took the hatchet from his father's largest idol, with which Abram broke it and ran away; because Abram saw the wrath in which was in his father’s eyes toward him. Now Terah, seeing all that Abram had done, hastened to go from his house, and he went to the king and he came before Nimrod and stood before him, and he bowed down to the king; and the king said, what dost thou want? Did you get that, in anger, Terah ran to the very person whom he saved Abram from, this was done out of Terah’s anger towards his son, because his son embarrassed him before his whole household, and he was going to allow Nimrod to join him in chastising his son. What Terah did not know, this was all a part of Elohiym’s plan. Here is where we will pause for the moment, for enough has been said to make you go hmm!!! We will pick up from here in our next epistle, that’s if it’s Adonai’s will, until then, sayonara!!!!!
