In we advising each and every one who is reading this day’s food for thought; we of the Leadership Team of Grace Message Church Ministries strongly exhort you to read and study the epistle in which is posted on Grace M Church Facebook page dated the 18th day of the 7th month of the 2018th year, in which has the title above it: Holy Ghost driven. If you have already read (yet we prefer) studied that epistle which was mentioned; you’re clear to go further in this lesson. In turning our attention back unto the 14th chapter of the First scroll of Samuel; we are reminded that Jonathan, with his armourbearer just tested the enemy by revealing themselves; and part of the revealing was to show that they were out there alone against a garrison of the Philistines. Just in case you may not know, as garrison is a military post, yes, a fixed spot in which a body of troops are stationed in a fort or a fortified town, even an outpost used to defend their people or territory against its enemies. That’s when we are able to see, that Jonathan and his armourbearer were on the same page (we’re going all the way in this battle, trusting the Lord for the victory), for they discovered themselves together (which is allowing themselves to be seen and looking out numbered and vulnerable), as is shown in the 11th verse of the 14th chapter of the First scroll of Samuel. When the uncircumcised Philistines saw these two Israelites; their remarks was; look; the Hebrews had come forth out of the holes where they had hidden themselves. Jonathan believing the holy writ out of the 30th verse of the 32nd chapter of the scroll of Deuteronomy from the Amplified Version: which teaches; how could one have chased a thousand and two put two thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them and the Lord had delivered them up? The holes were beautiful fruitful relaxing places like a pomegranate tree, in which the rest of the army were under with Saul, and Ahijah, being the priest of the Lord, out of Shiloh. Here’s the sad part, the Hebrews had the victory and knew it not; for the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was with them. But their minds told them, they were defeated and outnumbered. That’s when the prideful numbered enemy gave the two who were anointed of God to put ten thousand to flight, an invitation to come up hither; and as John being on the isle called Patmos accepted the heavenly voice invite; Jonathan and his armourbearer accepted their enemy’s invite. We see in the 13th verse of the 14th chapter of the First scroll of Samuel Jonathan climbing upward on his hands and feet, and his armourbearer stepping in his every move. This reveals while they were climbing upward, their hands and feet of war, were occupied in holding on and they were more at a physical disadvantage to the natural eye. For if the enemy would have known, they wouldn’t have given a blissful invite unto their own destruction. In arriving at the top of the hill and penetrating the enemy’s fort, Jonathan and his armourbearer slaughtered (not killed, but slaughtered--annihilate · exterminate · execute · liquidate · eliminate · destroy · decimate · wipe out · mowed down · cut down ) about twenty men within about a half-acre of land in which a yoke of oxen might plow; seeing that Jonathan and his armourbearer were yoked together. With this kind of faith and reliance upon God, Jonathan and his armourbearer worked a mighty work in the LORD; which set off a trembling and a panic in the Philistine camp, in the Philistine’s location in the field, and among where ever the Philistines had men, even in the garrison, seeing that the raiders trembled and the earth quaked and that move of faith in Jonathan and his armourbearer became a terror from God among their enemies. The quaking and outcry among the enemy of the Hebrews alerted the pomegranate tree relaxers, and the king of Israel was informed that their enemies were melting away, as in running around with their heads cut off. That’s when Saul gave an order, and that order was (number the men and see who among us were brave enough to trust the LORD God). The answer returned to king Saul and to the priest of the LORD, Jonathan and his armourbearer were missing. No they weren’t, they had crossed-over into the face of the enemy and became very courageous. PLEASE REMEMBER WHAT WAS JUST SAID ABOUT THIS VICTORY IN WHICH GOD WROUGHT THROUGH JONATHAN AND HIS ARMOURBEARER!!!!!! That’s when King Saul called for the ark of the Lord who was represented by Ahijah the priest of the most high God (for the ark was with the children of Israel in Shiloh). While Saul was speaking with the priest (going over the formats) in which they should have done all of this time while they were comfortable under the pomegranate tree (in which the enemy had considered that to be Israel’s hiding place). Isn’t it strange, when God is working a work through a person who’s courageous, the fearful person in charge now wants to move quickly; before the victory goes to another person; even if it be his very own son (this is the behavior among God’s people of today, if they are stuck and fearful, they flex their authority, using it to order you to remain stuck with them (seeing that King Saul and the priest were relaxing under the pomegranate tree at a time of battle), Selah!!! What are you doing at this moment, because if you know it or not you’re in a battle; Hmmm??? Get this people, in God having a person or people who will be courageous, the noise in which the victory is being won, God’s lazy people are watching harder than the enemies. Because, the only reason why King Saul, Jonathan’s father moved quickly; he thought Jonathan would steal his thunder. So true is this, that Saul would not even allow the priest to finish consulting God on their behalf; as we see in the 19th verse of the 14th chapter of the First scroll of Samuel seeing Saul ORDERED the priest to withdraw his hand; wow!!! Here we see no moving as one, as in the case of the king priest order in which God designed for us to walk in from the beginning; this is one of the hidden reasons why Melchizedek, king of Salem (which is actually Jerusalem) he being priest of the most high God; as is revealed in the 18th verse of the 14th chapter of the scroll of Beginning (which is Genesis) he met Abram before he was converted to Abraham, in the which symbolically, Abram represented idolatrous gentiles and their authority because of his father, Terah. We understanding that the gentiles love to exercise authority over each other; and Israel was selected to come close unto the LORD God, which represented the priest part of the Melchizedek order and we Gentiles ruling. As we are able to see, when Israel would get out of line God would send a heathen king and they would take the vessels of the LORD and place them among the treasure house of their god; as can be read in the 2nd verse of the 1st chapter of the scroll of Daniel. We of the leadership team reiterate; this is what was being demonstrated with King Saul and priest Ahijah (no oneness; in which the 26th verse of the 1st chapter of the scroll of Genesis calls US). Jonathan fighting before his father; that’s when King Saul and all of the people that were with him, they finally assembled themselves and came to the battle. That’s when Saul, Saul’s controlled priest and Saul’s men saw, through Jonathan and Jonathan’s armourbearer, GOD wrought an unusual work; that’s the enemy in whom were helping Jonathan and his armourbearer annihilate themselves; as is stated in the 20th verse of the 14th chapter of the First scroll of Samuel. We reiterate; KEEP IN MIND God first wrought through Jonathan and his armourbearer; but here comes Saul, and by him flexing his authority even as he just did against the priest of God; he will unknowingly do it against his very own son. Here is where we will be picking up from in our next food for thought, for enough has been said to make you go hmm. We will speak with you at a later date, that’s if it’s the Lord’s will, until then, sayonara!!!!!!
