In starting this food for thought, we start by saying hello unto all who love the Lord. We of the leadership team of Grace Message Church Ministries would like to dissect the word Nehushtan: it is an important thing of brass; which is something made of copper. This thing of copper, it’s brazen, it’s brass, which represents filthiness. This word Nehushtan, it was an offering in which God instructed Moses to receive from the congregation, as can be read in verses 1-3 of the 25th chapter of the scroll of Exodus in these words: the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, you speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering [yes, a present]: of every man that giveth it WILLINGLY with his heart/understanding ye Moses shall take My offering. And this is the offering [present] which ye Moses shall take of them; gold, and silver, and BRASS [and this brass is what was made into the Brasen altar {which was located at the entrance of the tabernacle and the temple in which Solomon built] this Brasen altar represented the cross of Calvary; it represented Golgotha, and this offering of brass, this Calvary, this Golgotha [we reiterate, it represented filthiness and nothing clean]. Then there’s the 11th verse of the 26th chapter of the scroll of Exodus; which shows that the holding of the tabernacle was held together by fifty taches of brass, and they were to put the clasps into the loops and couple the tent together, that it may be one whole. In other words; the Brasen Altar was without the tent; but the two parts of the tent were held together by clasps of Brasen; Selah!!! These two tent parts which are past the Brasen Altar, they are the tent called the holy place [where in was the candlestick, the table of shewbread and the Altar of incense] and the other tent was called the Holies of Holy [where in was only the Ark of the Covenant] yet, the Bible records something filthy called brass, brasen and Nehushtan held the two together. In other words, what we are saying is this; filthiness has held the temple of God together since the good news called the gospel began. For the Gentile; the representation of the Gentiles being grafted in was demonstrated [when Judah; being the representation of Jesus, went into a suppose to have been prostitute, which we all call filthy, which ended up to be Tamar, his daughter-in-law who was of the land of Canaan and not of Israel; which was grafted into the blood line of Yhowshua, as can be read in the scroll of Matthew, in the 3rd verse of the 1st chapter. This also is shown when Raheb the harlot, which represents filthiness, being also of the land of Canaan; to be precise, of the place called Jericho; a place in which God’s warriors were to destroy; nevertheless, because of her persuasion in the God of Israel, she was grafted into the generation of Yhowshua’ blood line; though being a heathen; as is shown in the scroll of Matthew, in the 5th verse of the 1st chapter. The saga continues with Ruth, the Moabitess woman; in which a Moabite was not to come into the congregation of the LORD, as is shown in the 3rd verse of the 23rd chapter of the scroll of Deuteronomy. This all began in Abraham, when he was yet uncircumcised [which made him a heathen and an idolater; in which he represented the Gentiles would be called] as is seen in verses 9-14 of the 4th chapter of the scroll of Romans which reads: cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision [Israelites] only, or upon the uncircumcision [heathens] also? For we say that faith [which is being fully persuaded and total reliance upon the Holy Ghost] it was reckoned [imputed] to Abraham for righteousness. How was righteousness then reckoned [imputed?] When Abraham was in circumcision [as being Abraham in the 5th verse of the 17th chapter of the scroll of Genesis], or was he called in uncircumcision [which is being called out as Abram in verses 1-4 of the 12th chapter of the scroll of Genesis?] Not in circumcision [or as Abraham], but in uncircumcision [which is Abram]. And Abraham received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised [that’s being Abram]: that Abraham might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised [Israelites]; that righteousness might be imputed unto the [Gentiles] also: and the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised [called Abram]. FOR GOD’S PROMISE TO ABRAM, THAT HE SHOULD BE THE HEIR OF THE WORLD, was not to Abraham, or to his [carnal seed, for Ishmael would have been invited in the 18th verse of the 17th chapter of the scroll of Genesis], through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void [be in vain], and the promise made of none effect [ceased]. These scriptures were given to show all types of brasen, brass, and filthiness, called Nehushtan from the beginning. Please do not get us wrong, we are not promoting the worshipping of Nehushtan; but you are; Selah!!!! For Nehushtan, being brass, brasen [the Altar in which the lambs and sacrifices were offered upon at the tabernacle and the temple of God] we reiterate, it represented Calvary and Golgotha in where Yhowshua was crucified and the very place where it got dark for three hours in the heat of the day. For we see later, what was used to make the brasen altar, was also used to make the serpent of brass and was ordered to lift it up on a pole; as we read in the 4th verse of the 21st chapter of the scroll of Numbers that as the mixed multitude [known as the church in the wilderness] journeyed from mount Hor [which represents an elevated position] they travelled by the way of the Red sea [which is the beginning as in being baptized all over again], to compass the land of Edom [which means they were operating in the flesh again]: and the souls [minds] of the people were much discouraged [troubled and vexed] because of the manner of the journey, which is known as the way] in which it had no significance in any other location on their journey; which caused the congregation to complain about the way God does things, which seemed as if it would have killed them. This complaining mentality is still in the household of God’s complaining people today, because of the way God does things. So, God ordered Moses in the 9th verse of the 21st chapter of the scroll of Numbers to make a serpent of brass, brasen, filthiness, called Nehushtan, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten [which is a doctrine of enchantment which causes a person to be led away in falseness], when he beheld the serpent [doctrine] of brass [filth on the pole when it got dark], he lived. So, Jesus said in verses 14-15 of the 3rd chapter of the scroll of John, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up [which is to become filthy, brass, and brasen]: that whosoever believeth in Him [as in He’s able to drawout the venomous doctrines from their minds] they should not perish [in false doctrine], but have eternal life [in the scrolls of God’s Word in which we will be judged out of]. People are teaching that the cross is the gospel, when in fact, the knowledge of the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God is the good news. Paul, the apostle of Yhowshua put’s it this way: for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ/the Holy Ghost: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first [which was represented by Judah], and also to the Greek [who took Tamar the Canaanite woman into his bosom]. This lesson shows that many denominations have erected the Nehushtan idols, when they stop at the cross and worship the cross, in which Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah removed the high places, and brake the images; even braking the brasen serpent in that Moses had made; for the people started worshiping it and burning incense to it [which represents giving it praise and worship] Hezekiah [whose name means; strengthened of Jah] he called what Moses built and the people continued to worship when it’s work was done; he called it Nehushtan [which means filthiness]; when in fact, we having the Holy Ghost the Bible teaches us that there is no condemnation in us who have the Holy Ghost. We of the leadership team reiterate, many congregations calling themselves denominations, they are building a doctrine around it, which was only a starting point; things like the cross, like water Baptist; like down payment Pentecost which is the earnest; even in signs and wonders, and the doctrine of the elders: and we are here to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant the true doctrine of Christ and His fulness. Here is where we will be pausing for the moment, for enough has been said to make you go hmm! We will speak with you at a later date, that’s if it’s the Lord’s will, until then, sayonara!!!!
