As we of the leadership team of Grace Message Church Ministries come unto you, in continuing in the mission of teaching topics in which most leaders avoid; this we will do, of course, while being under the unction of the Holy Ghost. With no further delay, we bring you unto a long-anticipated journey in which the Levite desired to attain earlier than he did: the journey is called; the voyage home, as is seen in the 9th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges. While taking this journey, thoughts would have been, a fantastic voyage home, understanding that they all know the way; but having in their bellies the meal and drink in which they all just dined upon: which must have brought forth mixed feelings in the caravan, which was heading back to mount Ephraim. For the Levite, the man of God, he finally grew a backbone/strength that would not allow his family; his servant; even his stuff to tarry in that concubine situation one more night, among the nasty hidden called generosity in which his father in law was dishing out only toward the Levite. The Levite, he must have practiced in his mind first, as we are encouraged to do; by saying repeatedly; no longer will I be afraid!!!! This facing his fears, it caused him to rise up and depart; on his journey home, they all came over against Jebus, which is now known as Jerusalem. If you’re paying attention unto what you’re reading, the verse above said, this journey was ONLY the Levite’s journey; for 10th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges makes it clear; that there were with the Levite, his two asses saddled, his concubine also was finally with HIM also. Please do not overlook, that the scripture pointed out, that the Levite, the man of God, just did not have asses with him on his journey; but the asses were saddled. Notwithstanding, when he departed from mount Ephraim in the 3rd verse of the 19th chapter of this same book of Judges; the scripture did not say that the couple of asses were saddled. This means, on the Levite’s departure from his father in law’s house, the father in law made sure he carried some of the issues which governed and ruled him in the father in law’s house. Those issues were, she willingly going away from the Levite, and remaining in concubine mode. If we turn our focus upon the 10th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges, the scripture reveals: when they were by Jebus “we reiterate, they all were by the state of feeling trodden down, or a location of feeling as if they were all on the threshing place together” yes, that feeling came upon them all, which was, they all were about to be shaken everywhere but loose. For when they were finally moving away from among the certain order of his father in law’s principles; the Levite had taken notice that the day was far spent “seeing that their morning was wasted again as the other mornings, afternoons and evenings issues which were dished out through his old father in law principles.” This actually meant, that their journey began in the heat of the day; in which we understand, being a Levite, they rise early to do God’s biddings. But, wasting precious time in the earlier part of the day, which made their now traveling journey kind of discombobulated!!!! And the Levite’s servant said unto him; master, Come, I pray thee, and let us turn in into this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it. If the Levite would have listened, it would have allowed him time to vomit up his father in law’s five days of chaff principles which were trying to take root among his God given principles, and he really needed his wheat doctrine to be shaken back to the top of his life; and Jebus was the correct place to do that. But how many of us have learnt over the years of walking in the Spirit of God, that our help and proper location for making corrections; they do not always appear to be what you expect them to be? For the Levite was overcompensating for him being duped in one part of God’s command, which is recorded in the 24th verse of the 2nd chapter of the book of Genesis; and now my servant wants me to face the Jebusites “which are my issues which have me feeling trodden down?” In speaking concerning Jebus/ Jebusites, it was clearly mentioned, that they were the abomination which dwelt as inhabitants of the Promised Land; and Israel was instructed not to mingle among; as can be seen in these words, from verses 23-24 of the 23rd chapter of the book of Israel being brought out of their bondage. Even as the Levite was just brought out of his bondage; and that book is called Exodus: the scripture goes a little like this: for mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the JEBUSITES: AND I THE LORD God WILL CUT THEM OFF. Thou, Israelites; shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. But the Levite, not knowing that he was a little off in his Godly decision making; and his servant was calling himself looking out for him. If we are able to recollect, while the pissing contest was going on in the concubine of a damsel father’s house, the servant was just watching all things which were taking place, and he seeing how the Levite’s in law’s, and his very own concubine wife of a woman just handled him in two of the most horrific manners toward a man and a husband. But the servant’s master, being the Levite, he said unto him in the 12th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges, we will not turn aside hither into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we will pass over to Gibeah “or of this hill, which belongs to the tribe of Judah.” What the Levite just did, is what most saints/Christians of today, being the 2018th year, do or we should have said think. The place in which the Levite’s servant suggested, was the correct place in which the Levite and his concubine needed to vomit in; it even was the place of unsaddling his asses, from the travel stuff in which his father in law principles loaded upon him; in which only the asses part of the Levite and his wife were able to carry, for none of this fell upon the servant. For we who are mature in the LORD God, we understand that even God was taken into places in which people feel He should not have been, Selah!!! Yes, places like before Dagon, as is recorded in the 23rd verse of the 16th chapter of the book of Judges; and for Samson to be delivered there, he had to be blinded. Then there was, when God’s presence was delivered into the presence of Dagon again; as can be seen in verses 1-6 of the 5th chapter of the First book of Samuel in these words: and the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Eben-ezer unto Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. Therefore, neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day. But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof. Here’s one more; even Yhowshua, Himself was led into the face of the devil, himself in verses 1-10 of the 4th chapter of the book of Matthew. In saying that, God will lead even His children into unseemly locations to get the victory or leave their dirt there; was not your sin left at the cross, Selah!!! We need to know we are able to go into places in which we call our enemies, and face their gods, and come out victorious!!! For Abraham even said in the 11th verse of the 20th chapter of the book of Genesis: because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and that’s what the Levite thought in whom we are speaking of. Notwithstanding, the part in which the Levite was about to suggest for them to lodge in; it was partially of the tribe of the Benjamites, and partially still inhabited with some the Jebusites; in other words, it was infested with mingled doctrine among them. As we are now able to see in the 13th verse of the same 19th chapter of the book of Judges; that the Levite said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in Ramah. In case some of you do not know, Ramah is a seat of idolatry; in which the son of the right hand dwelt in and the son of the right hand represents the end time church where homosexuality will increase even among God’s people. Please do not miss this; the idolatry was the strong craving for the man’s rectum; even as it was in Sodom, and the other four cities of that plain, even with their five kings: “which was a period of grace, understanding that the law was not given yet” this is why Abram would not accept anything from the five kings because of their practices in homosexuality in verses 21-24 of the 14th chapter of the book of Genesis. But, the 14th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges clearly points out, that the Levites mind was made up, regardless of the good counsel in which his servant just gave him. The verse reads: and they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gibeah, WHICH BELONGING TO BENJAMIN. And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat him down in a street of the city: for there was no man of the Benjamites neither of the Jebusites that took them into their house to lodging, as the 15th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges points out; the leaving of him and his caravan in the street was done to make them easily vulnerable to get to. But, after a while, the 16th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges reveals: behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim “the place in which the Levite, himself is from as is pointed out in the 1st verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges” this old man, he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites. This introduction is what we will be discussing in our next food for thought. For enough has been said to make you go hmm!!! We will speak with you at a later date, that’s if it’s the Lord’s will, until then, sayonara!!!!
