Hello unto all on this glorious 13th day of the 2nd month of the 2018th year; we thank the LORD God for Him keeping us in this season, and the seasons to come, and the Church says???? In our last food for thought, we left off in pointing out that there was first; a certain Levite who was sojourning/abiding on the side of mount Ephraim. This Levite is from the same tribe in which Moses and Aaron were from; and the LORD God commanded Moses in verses 47-51 of the 1st chapter of the book of Numbers concerning the tribes of Levi in these words: but the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered/counted among them; which were appointed to go to fight in the battles. For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying, only thou shalt NOT number/count THE TRIBE OF LEVI, neither take the sum/quantity of them among the children of Israel: but thou shalt APPOINT THE LEVITES OVER THE TABERNACLE OF TESTIMONY/declaration, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: THE LEVITES shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and THE LEVITES shall minister unto it, and shall dwell environs the tabernacle. And when the tabernacle is to be pulled up for movement, THE LEVITES shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched for abiding, THE LEVITES shall set it up: AND THE STRANGER THAT COMES NEAR THE TABERACLE AND ITS VESSELS SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH “thus said the LORD God.” This was the functions of the tribe of Levites, they were to stay to the business of their heavenly Father. While the rest of the tribes of Israel, including the tribe of Judah, were to fight the physical warfare, the tribe of Levites were dedicated to the fighting of the spiritual warfare. Even as when Moses, Aaron and Hur in the 10th verse of the 17th chapter of the book of Exodus went up to the top of the hill; while Joshua being from the tribe of Ephraim, led the physical warfare in the valley. Yes, Hur’s name was mentioned in being at the top of the hill with Moses and Aaron; being joined in with them in the spiritual part of the battle. Hur’s authority and character, in which the Bible uses name: it was liberty, whiteness and hole. In other words; Hur was a cavity in the solid body of Israel, so out of Moses, Aaron and Hur, Hur was the first one to die among them; in fact, the congregation of Israel killed Hur at the golden calf, which was erected in the wilderness, while Moses was up in the mount receiving the commandments from God, face to face. The reason in which this picture of Hur being the first to die among those three great men; Hur was of the tribe of Judah; and he had to be the first of many brethren; which was a picture of Yhowshua’ death taking place in the near future. In turning our attention back upon the certain Levite which is mentioned in the 1st verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges; he dwelt in a location which is considered as having a promotion in double fruitfulness. This promotion and double fruitfulness are indicated in the words: mount; which is from the Hebrew number 2022 of the Strong’s Concordance of the Bible, which gives us: promotion; an advancement. This Levite, his promotion and advancement was about to take place in whom he’s about to take unto himself. The term double fruit, it derives from the word Ephraim, which runs us to the Hebrew number 669 from the Strong’s Concordance of the Bible which gives us: double fruit. Here’s why double fruit; the person in whom he’s about to be connected to; will bring him joy and pain; yes sunshine and rain, cloudy skies and clear days. The next character mentioned in that same 1st verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges is, a concubine. We already explained in few of our previous food for thoughts, what was a concubine, and we went into details about what her role was unto a man. In case some of you are just joining us for the first time, this role concubine, it was not an Biblical abomination, so do not allow anyone to tell you that. For each and everyone of us, saints and non-saints, we were all first brought forth by concubines; after being born again, we were adopted into a heavenly family which has the correct Father and mother, which delivered us from being bastards. This concubine in which we are speaking of, her location was in a very blessed location; and she would and could have been a very blessed improvement unto the Levite. For she was taken/selected out of Bethlehemjudah. Bethlehemjudah means, the sister was equipped with some spiritual bread from heaven, and she was one who confesses her faults; she praised and worshipped; but her number one issue was, she would continually play the whore against the Levite who took her; as is said in these words from the 2nd verse of the same 19th chapter of the book of Judges: and his concubine played the whore against him. This term played the whore, its meaning from the Strong’s Concordance of the Bible, which derives from the Hebrew number 2181; is, Idolatry and commit adultery. Before you assume, because the congregations of God today, being the 2018th year, many women are playing the whore upon their husband’s; for a concubine is considered as being a wife, along with being a woman who just cohabits with a man. The definition wife for concubine maybe found under the numbers 802 which means a woman, and under the number 582 which means stranger, a servant and a mortal woman; and in the 3rd verse of the 16th chapter of the book of Genesis; which describes Hagar. The first part of the Levite’s concubine playing the whore are disguised in these words from the 2nd verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges: she went away FROM HER HUSBAND unto her father's house in Beth-lehem-judah, and was there four whole months. What was the brother going to do without his wife/concubine for four months??? Here’s what seemed right in the concubine woman and her father’s eyes of her justification; that she was back home in the household of bread, and confession and praise and worship. Just as many women of today, they are only cohabiting with a man without being subject unto him; and when the first thing comes up in which they refuse to submit to, their parents get involved, and encourage them to return home in the name of Jesus; while those same women remain in the household of God dining upon the bread from heaven, confessing their sins, praising and worshiping God and they don’t think anything’s wrong with that. Women, that’s called playing the whore against your husband: I heard them to LORD, some smart mouth woman said, that Levite wasn’t that concubine’s husband; can you see the Bible calls her a concubine??? Always believe the Word of God and not yourselves, for the 3rd verse of the same 19th chapter of the book of Judges identifies the Levite as being the concubine’s husband in these words: and her husband “the Levite” he arose, and went after her “the concubine.” When he arrived at his father in law’s house, the proper actions for the father in law, was to have had the woman’s things ready to go back with her husband. So, the Levite showed us singing the song; baby come back!!!! For the Bible reveals in the 3rd verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Judges: that the Levite, the concubine’s husband, spoke friendly unto her, and to bring her again “under the principles of his roof, though she was wrong for leaving in the first place, he went to her friendly.” But her rebelliousness and her stubbornness are revealed when the verse reads: she brought him into her father's house. As in to say; lets see what my father has to say about this; though he came to get her. The Bible reveals; and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him. In other words, the father was rejoicing to see that his young immature daughter had that man of God, hen-pecked. Hen-peck is: a woman who cohabits with her husband) continually criticizing and giving orders to (her husband or other male partner; in the 9th verse of the 21st chapter of the book of Proverbs it reads, it is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house: so vital is this that these same words are recorded in the same book of Proverbs chapter 25 verse 24. This was the concubine’s issue of playing the whore here first; and the households of God are filled with these types of women; Selah!!!! Here is where we will pause for the moment, for enough has been said to make you go hmm!!! We will speak with you at a later date; until then, sayonara!!!!
