As we of the leadership team of Grace Message Church Ministries come unto you on this sixth day of the first week in the New Year; which makes this day the 5th of the 1st month of the 2018th year. As we continue in the lesson which is entitled: the truth and nothing but the truth: we ask that you would turn your focus back unto the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel. In our last food for thought, we painted a picture, using Saul, Jonathan and David as representing the whole man. In case you did not study that epistle; King Saul represented the flesh; in which his son Jonathan represented the soul. But Saul’s soul, which is Jonathan, he became knitted to someone who was brought into Saul’s life at a later date and that someone was the true anointed king David. This later arrival, he was anointed with the Spirit of God and his authority and character was David, this new person was a representative of the young born again spirit man. Keep in mind that the first man was not spiritual, he was only natural; as is clearly taught in the New Testament of the Bible, from the 46th verse of the 15th chapter of the First book of Corinthians in these words: howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural. Being natural, it is known as a renovated nature, or of the dust of the ground. This verse is speaking of first Adam and Israel’s first physical ruler, for even Israel desired their king to be like all other kings; even as the household of God today are competing with what’s around them, instead of focusing on the last man which is from above called heaven, as is spoken in the 47th verse of the 15th chapter of the First book of Corinthians. Nevertheless, this renovated nature of Adam’s and ours, are driven by our soul, which is our emotions, our desires and our mindset; and is stated in the 45th verse of the same 15th chapter of the First book of Corinthians, which is in the New Testament in these words: and so it is written in the 7th verse of the 2nd chapter of the book of Genesis; which is the Old Testament, The first man Adam who was placed in the garden, after God breathed into his nostrils, he was made or became a living soul only “as being driven by his desires, emotions and thoughts” even as Jonathan was from within his father Saul; and thought that if anyone knew Saul, he did, as is stated in the 2nd verse of the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel. But, after Saul lost his anointing which covered him “even as Adam and his woman lost theirs, which covered them in the garden” and there was no way Saul could ever be reinstated “even as there was no way first Adam could be reinstated; so we needed a last Adam as is spoken in the 45th verse of the 15th chapter of the First book of Corinthians.” For an evil spirit of hating first Adam’s birthright was given unto him; even as Esau ended up hating his birthright; and Saul his. Let’s go even further, there was nothing in which first Adam could have done to save his rebellious woman in which he named living, BKA Eve. For we of today understand that first Adam was not, nor ever would be a quickening spirit; he could have only saved himself. We understand that many have not a clue of what’s a quickening spirit. So, here’s a quick lesson: a quickening spirit is equipped to make someone dead alive; as is spoken in these words from the 45th verse of the 15th chapter of the First book of Corinthians of the New Testament: and He’s known as being last Adam, which is represented by Israel’s last physical prominent anointed king, named David, who was a symbolic picture of Yhowshua; he was symbolically made a quickening spirit. Understanding that he was a man after God’s own heart “which is a heart of compassion” and David desired not to destroy any of the Israelites, even those who hated him. Yes, even if they were plotting to destroy him; David saved their lives, by placing his own life in jeopardy and avoiding confrontations among the household of God. Nevertheless, the natural use of the renovated nature in which king Saul represented, he could only fulfill what was limited for his flesh; and that’s being without natural affection, a trucebreaker, a false accuser, without self-control, because he’s driven by the influence of an evil spirit; which makes him behave as a savage; and a despiser of those that are good; as is taught from the 3rd verse of the 3rd chapter of the Second book of Timothy. Here is a clearer picture of what’s being taught today, it is understood in the 44th verse of the 15th chapter of the First book of Corinthians in these words: God’s Word which is spiritual, yet is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body; after the battle within is completed. Because there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body, in which we are not able to receive, until we depart from our natural bodies. The member of this tri-part body, who has the most difficult part, is called the soul “BKA the mind” and this is Jonathan’s part in which he represents. Get this, now we see Jonathan saying to David from the 4th verse of the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel: whatsoever thy soul determine “in which Jonathan was speaking of himself, being David’s soul” Jonathan, unto the representation of the spirit man being David, I will even do it for thee. Which means, whatsoever a man thinketh, so is he “which means Jonathan was about to allow the mind of Christ to go into mode” which would totally spoil the flesh plans of destroying the spirit: this is why we are instructed by the mercies of God, that we present our bodies as living victims, sacrifices for the slaughter; which is set apart, the Bible calls holy. And this is acceptable unto God, which is our rational or reasonable Divine worship and ministration of God: so David has to allow God to sacrifice the representation of the flesh, which is Saul, which is a picture of the escape goat.” Please do not mislead yourselves; your flesh is aware of your spirit man achievements, even as your spirit man is aware of your flesh failures: and the reason for this is; both are acting upon directions given by the selfsame soul; symbolically being Jonathan; Selah!!!! This picture in which we just painted, it is seen in the 27th verse of the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel in these words: Saul “who represents the flesh” said unto Jonathan his son “which represents Saul’s soul” wherefore cometh not the son of Jesse “David who represents the spirit man” Saul said he did not come to meat, neither yesterday, nor to day. Here’s the reason why David, the spiritual man was not there; they were eating only food for the flesh. Which is also seen when Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, when they refused to eat the kings food in verses 11-16 of the 1st chapter of the book of Daniel. Now here’s the tricky part, in which most Christians and saints overlook; the soul is there for both meals; that’s spiritual flesh and blood as is recorded in the 53rd verse of the 6th chapter of the book of John: or eating just the five loaves and two fishes; in verses 17-21 of the 14th chapter of the book of Matthew which is only carnal. Now we will see Jonathan who represents the soul; he will answer for David in verses 28-29 of the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel in these words: Jonathan answered Saul, David earnestly asked leave of me to go to Beth-lehem “to the true spiritual house of Bread” And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me to be there: and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore, he cometh not unto the king's table. That’s when Saul, who represents the flesh, he got angry with Jonathan who represented Saul’s own soul; as is seen in the 30th verse of the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel: for then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan. Have you ever been angry at your soul, your emotions, your desires and your thoughts???? Saul knew that Jonathan hath chosen David’s ways. This epistle has been and is talking about your struggle which takes place within you. Here is where we will be pausing for the moment; for enough has been said to make you go hmm!!! We will speak with you at a later date, that’s if it’s the Lord’s will, sayonara!!!!
