As we of the leadership team of Grace Message Church Ministries stated in our last food for thought, that we were going to be starting in the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel. But first we send you a heartfelt greeting, in the name of Yhowshua. For we understanding that the Lord said, the undelivered dying world would know that you are My disciples, by your love one for the other. But the congregation of God are overlooking that scripture because of personal hurt emotions, which causes the love of many who call themselves people of God, to have their love waxed cold; as it was predicted that it would from the 12th verse of the 24th chapter of the book of Matthew. Here’s the catch concerning the love in which the Lord was speaking of, the person you’re loving, they do not have to love you back, for you to show forth your part of the given love of God, which would cause a change in their lives!!! So, as we began with this pondering message, we must turn our attention back unto when Jonathan in verses 4-7 of the 19th chapter of the First Book of Samuel: he gave David words of consolation concerning his evil spirit led father, in which Saul spoke unto his son Jonathan concerning David’s life, that there are no plans or attempts from him, that would cause David’s destruction. Jonathan truly being a friend of David’s and on David’s side.; it does not mean that his father could be persuaded to feel the same way, no matter who’s trying to convince him. Notwithstanding, Jonathan was also close with his father, we understanding that Jonathan knew his father before ever meeting David, and Jonathan strived for the acceptance of his father. Being torn between the both of them, Jonathan said unto David, as is recorded in these words from the 2nd verse of the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel: behold, my father will do nothing either great or small, but that he will shew it me: and why should my father hide this thing from me? But what Jonathan failed to recognize was this; even as is the case with most saints, whose number one failure is letting go of what once worked in their close-knit family; especially when it comes down to someone in whom they were seeking acceptance from. This is also seen among longtime carnal friends, but when God has opened one of their eyes and they have taken notice of a move of God; but they feel loyal to their friend, that’s when the person who is being called out of that relationship, he/she would try to satisfy both parties and attempt to keep both parties around. But what fellowship have light with darkness? Here’s a Biblical fact, one of them being your family member or your new anointed, in which you had just taken notice of, either will cause you to die with them, but the other will cause you to live and one day look for something or someone to represent you, by sitting at the highest table in the region, as is shown in the 7th verse of the 9th chapter of the Second book of Samuel. So, the dark person who is that blinded persons family member, in whom even they know has an evil spirit upon them; they began to think that there’s maybe hope for that person in whom God has sent an evil spirit upon; as is stated in the 14th verse of the 16th chapter of the First book of Samuel. Even as it was with the father of faith, in whom we know as Abraham: he had problems in separating himself from Ishmael, as is shown in these words from the 18th verse of the 17th chapter of the book of Genesis: and Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! The solution to Abraham’s problem is seen in these verses 9-14 of the 21st chapter of the book of Genesis in these words: And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac. And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called. And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba. Please do not miss this hidden truth: if your old ways, or old family member, is mocking your new family member, they are hindering your personal walk with God, and the first is the natural, and the last is spiritual; as is recorded in verses 44 and 46 of the 15th chapter of the First book of Corinthians. These issues are also seen in the New Testament of the Bible, as can be read in verses 36-40 of the 15th chapter of the book of Acts: And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do. And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark “for John Mark was Barnabas’ family member.” But Paul thought not good to take him with them, understanding that he departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work “in the heat of the battle, when all types of afflictions and persecutions were being laid upon Paul and Barnabas; John Mark wanted no dealings with that part of the ministry, because it was making him look like a fool and was ruining his reputation.” And the dispute in anger was so enraged between Paul and Barnabas concerning John Mark; but Paul and Barnabas once worked well together” they had to depart asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark “who had no steadiness to him” and sailed unto Cyprus “which caused Barnabas to temporarily fail in fulfilling the 26th verse of the 14th chapter of the book of Luke. And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God “and Paul and Silas’ ministry exploded, while Barnabas diminished.” The normal is this, a family member of yours has an issue with someone that is knitted to you in fighting the LORD’S battles, because they know that their friend has the power of God working in his life. But Jonathan overlooked, that his father’s principles were not calling his own God given principles anymore, it was the principles of the evil spirit provoking him; as is shown in the 9th verse of the 19th chapter of the First book of Samuel in these words: the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand. That’s when the evil spirit spoke with Saul, telling Saul to kill David; and Saul had no resistance with in him; for we understanding that, that evil spirit had friends with him, while he was residing within Saul; as is recorded in the 45th verse of the 12th chapter of the book of Matthew: which made Saul’s last state, worse than his first; even so shall it be in this generation we call the 2018th year. In Jonathan not being educated in the realm of possession; in which an evil spirit is a liar, a deceiver, and very cunning, as was the serpent in the garden. For we are able to read these words from verses 21-23 of the 22nd chapter of the First book of Kings: while God and His angels “and these angels are messengers” they all were gathered together, just to try and handle an issue with King Ahab. That’s when, A SPIRIT came forth and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade Ahab; I will flatter him with words he desires to hear; I will entice him and allure him away from the truth; by having many who call themselves prophets speaking to him victory, and boosting his ego concerning win, when there is no victory if he follows their lead. This all was taking place while the true man of God; Micaiah, spoke words of defeat unto Ahab, in the presence of all of Ahab’s royal host; and these words were spoken, and if followed, Ahab’s life would have been spared. So, the LORD said unto the spirit which came forth, Wherewith, or how will you do it? And the spirit in the presence of the LORD said unto the LORD, I will go forth, and I will be a LYING SPIRIT in the mouth of all Ahab’s prophets “which were 400 prophets speaking lies, being under the influence of that lying spirit’ even as there are many today who are under that same spirit.” And God said, thou shalt persuade Ahab, and prevail also: and the LORD told the lying spirit to go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, THE LORD HATH PUT A LYING SPIRIT IN THE MOUTH OF ALL THESE, THY PROPHETS AHAB, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning Ahab. Family members need to truly understand that one will be taken from their family; as we are warned in verses 40-41 of the 24th chapter of the book of Matthew and the other left. And a man’s foes shall be those of a man’s own household, as teaches the 36th verse of the 10th chapter of the book of Matthew. Saul, unknowingly to Jonathan, has now become his enemy, because Jonathan had recognized the anointing in which David was clothed with. Here is a serious lifesaving question, how many of you saints understand this Biblical truth; closeness with family members can keep some folks who are designed to come out from among them, and they won’t, which will cause them to be destroyed; even as Lots two daughters and two sons-in-law in the 12th verse of the 19th chapter of the book of Genesis were? This is one of the reasons why the LORD God ordered Abram in the 1st verse of the 12th chapter of the book of Genesis to leave his whole family? But Abram was emotionally blinded for the moment, because he felt as if the loving God, who just showed him mercy; His will must be to deliver my whole family also. Seeing that Abram’s father, Terah in the 31st verse of the 11th chapter of the book of Genesis acted upon Abram’s call out, or on Abram’s deliverance. And there will be commands which will be sounding out in the hearing of God’s people in the future, as is spoken from the 4th verse of the 18th chapter of the book of Revelation. Nevertheless, the same calling out is sounding off in our hearing today; yet because of family members, the invitations are not being excepted, even though they see the facts before their faces, but their emotions are polluting their hearts? This is one of the reasons why Yhowshua said from the 26th verse of the 14th chapter of the book of Luke: if any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also “which is his own decisions” he cannot be Yhowshua’ disciple’ which is one who learns the Word of God. Though Lot’s wife was delivered, and their two daughters came out of what was about to be destroy; Lot’s family members who were tied to Lot’s wife, they were worth more to her, than her fulfilling the obedient word of God; which produced death in her life, and she was a symbolic picture of a whole congregation which made it out: Paul the apostle of Yhowshua puts it this way: O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth? Even as it was with Sarah, Abraham’s wife; as can be read in verses 1-2 of the 23rd chapter of the book of Genesis; for when she received revelation from the devil, that Abraham was going to sacrifice their promised son Isaac in the land of Moriah; this Abraham was doing on behalf of his whole family, even on Sarah’s behalf. But it did not matter to Sarah, if Abraham was acting on the orders of God or not; she was not going to allow Abraham to kill her reproach remover; and this is how some saints act when God gives them something. Then God turns around and ask them to give it back to Him. Get this, what Abraham was willing to give up to prove that his family love God more than anything He could ever give them. Abraham’s wife Sarah was not on board with that program, so the same offering killed Abraham’s blessed symbolic picture of a church even though she respected him enough to call him lord; if there were a good time in which you should go hmmm, now is that time. In diving a little deeper in our lesson, knowing our history, most kings were replaced quickly, and most kings who were replaced they were killed by deceptive family members BKA their own sons; or their wives who guided their son against their father. Even as children of today are killing their parents for their inheritance. Here’s the strange thing about the Israelites commanding Yhowshua to be crucified; they were unknowingly to them killing Him for their spiritual inheritance; but at the time, all they saw was the temple in which they desired, which was recognition from the people, and this is what people are seeking these days. This part here is for the self-righteous people, we all killed Yhowshua for our eternal inheritance; understand that we are His brethren, and he was rejected by His brethren, and could not do mighty works among them, and still some of us today. This is the rude awakening in which David was giving Jonathan concerning his father, Saul from the 3rd verse of the 20th chapter of the First book of Samuel when he said: thy father certainly knows that I have found grace in thine eyes; and he said, let not Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the LORD lives, and as thy soul lives, there is but a step between me and death. So, Saul was actually thinking within himself, when his son Jonathan was making a plea for David’s life in verses 4-5 of the 19th chapter of the First book of Samuel: my own son is against me. In other words; Saul was eyeing his son Jonathan differently, even as he eyed David differently. Here is where we will pause for the moment, for enough has been said to waken you. We will speak with you at a later date, that’s if it’s the Lord’s will, sayonara!!!!!!
