Hello on this first day of the week; even by your very own calendars which is hanging on your walls, it reveals that this first day of the week being a Sunday; and if what we just said is correct and it is, why would you reject the counsel of God when He commands us to keep the Sabbath day holy as is seen in the 8th verse of the 20th chapter of the book of Exodus of your very own Bibles??? We of the leadership team of Grace Message Church ministries heard some of you say within yourselves and even out loud; we are not under the law, and that is true!!! So we ask you, when God finished his works and rested on the seventh day as is mentioned in verses 1-2 of the 2nd chapter of the book of Genesis; was the law in affect? This seventh day of the week in which we are speaking of, is the season in which the Creator set apart, calling it the Sabbath “which is an intermission and a time of celebration” seeing that it was the only day in which Elohiym blessed and sanctified; and being sanctified is to be consecrated, or dedicated, sacred, even appointed and set apart, out of all of the other six days in which Elohiym created. If someone does not understand the meaning of the word perpetual, that is found in the 16th verse of the 31st chapter of the book of Exodus: in these words, wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. We all who are mature in the Word of righteousness know that the word Exodus means, coming out, or departure; and the departure or coming out is from bondage worship. The word perpetual is from the Hebrew number 5769 which comes out of the Strong’s Concordance of the Bible which means eternal and without end. That 16th verse of the 31st chapter of the book of Exodus reveals that the keeping of the Sabbath day is an eternal covenant between God and mankind, even as the bow in which God placed in the clouds in the sky as a token and an everlasting perpetual for generations to come. The covenant is; He would not destroy the earth with water anymore as is seen in these words: And God said, this is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations, Selah!!! Today we still view the perpetual covenant token which is the rain bow in the clouds when it rains and no one ever questions that covenant because they can see it physically and they just embrace it; but when the perpetual covenant of keeping the Sabbath day in which was set aside for us to worship God, it is always questioned and even rejected, yet it still remains a perpetual covenant. This is why God said in the 6th verse of the 4th chapter of the book of Hosea: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to the LORD God. Most congregational folks place themselves in bondage because they are trying to please people and be accepted into the in crowd; people hate being rejected; even true men of God hate being rejected, but time conditions a God fearing person to embrace being rejected; for verses 16-18 of the 5th chapter of the book of James reveals: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent “active” prayer of a righteous man prevails much. Elijah was a man subject to like passions “or similarly affected him” as we are, and he prayed earnestly “with real desire” that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And Elijah prayed “effectually fervent with real desire” again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. We all understand that Elijah was a true man of God; and the only reason why some folks accept Elijah as a true man of God; they don’t know him. What we mean by that statement, if you knew Elijah while he was growing up or you know a few of his short comings, yes short comings; you will reject him as being a man of God, for most people do not know that Elijah was praying that God would kill him as he sat under the tree, for he felt as his ministry was unbearable. Isn’t it strange that the weight of his ministry was not for himself but it was for God’s elected people in whom he was trying to introduce them back to their God but because of the numbers of many false prophets being among God’s people, they leaned towards the many. This is why in verses 24-26 of the 4th chapter of the book of Luke reveals in these words: Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country. But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; But unto none of them was Elijah sent, save unto Sarepta “BKA Zarephath—as is seen in the 9th verse of the 17th chapter of the First book of Kings” a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. If Elijah would have been sent by God to any of the widows of Israel; because they knew him, they knew his short comings, so they would not have believed that God was with him, which would have caused them not to provide for him, in which they actually would have been making a way for their own survival through the draught and famine. This truth is a fact, in so much that the 27th verse of that same 4th chapter of the book of Luke reveals in these words: And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian “as is seen in verses 1-14 of the 5th chapter of the Second book of Kings.” Yes, there were many in Israel that were lepers, and they remained lepers until they died, because they knew Elisha’s short comings which caused them to reject the God that called Elisha even with his short comings; for it is God at work through us and not us at all; this is why all glory belongs to God and God alone!!!! Here is where we will stop for the moment, for enough has been said to make you go hmm!!! We will speak with you later, that’s if it’s the Lord’s will; remembers this; we of the leadership team of Grace Message Church ministries love you, regardless if you love us back, sayonara!!!!!
